During the International Symposium «We have the right to live in a nuclear-free world», held May 12-13, 2006, during the 1st International Anti Nuclear Festival of Rhodes, the Mediterranean Anti Nuclear Watch was committed to coordinate the actions for the creation of an International Network against Nulcear Threat, signed by NGOs from the wider are of the Mediterranean Sea and the Middle East, for the transformation of this area to a Nuclear-Free Zone of Peace.

As a result of these efforts, during the 2nd International Anti Nuclear Festival of Rhodes, the first Plenary of the network and the protocol of cooperation will be signed.

To the plenary 19 NGOs from 9 countries will take part:
