2nd International Anti Nuclear Watch - Welcome - Mediterranean Anti Nuclear Watch

The 2nd International Anti Nuclear Festival of Rhodes is hosted by the Mediterranean Anti Nuclear Watch, with the support of the Central Union of Municipalities of Greece and local authorities, on September 25-29, 2007. This year, the Festival is dedicated to energy preservation and Renewable Sources of Energy, targeting to the motivation of citizens, especially young ones. Lectures, debates, film screenings, theatrical plays, concerts among other activities will be part of the city's life for a whole week. The main event of the Festival is the signing of Protocol of Cooperation for the creation of an International Network against Nulcear Threat, signed by NGOs from the wider area of the Mediterranean Sea and the Middle East, focusing on the transformation of this area to a Nuclear-Free Zone of Peace.
